The N/V Cougars will be playing in the first round of Football Playoffs on Thursday, Oct. 22.
In Class D2, the top 32 teams in wildcard points make the playoffs. Then the NSAA divides those schools into an East and West division and seeds them 1-16. With where the Cougars were sitting in the wildcard points, they came in as the No. 12 seed in the East Division.
The Cougars will play Humphrey St. Francis on Thursday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. in Humphrey. The winner will advance to the second round, which will be played Friday, Oct. 30 at a site to be determined.
