The N/V Cougar wrestlers competed in the Newman Grove Tournament on Wednesday, Dec. 30. Results were as follows:
Gavin Chohon (8-13) wrestled in the 182 lb. weight class and placed fifth and scored 7 team points.
In Round one, Mason Topp of Winside 21-5, won by fall over Chohon (Fall 1:33); Round Two: Chohon won by fall over Dalton Ruth, Norfolk JV 1
5-12 (Fall 3:06); Round Three: Hank Hudson of Boone Central Newman Grove 7-11 won by fall over Chohon (Fall 2:38); Round Four: Richard Cleveland of Boone Central Newman Grove 12-3 won by fall over Chohon (Fall 2:30); Round Five: Levi Villa, Central City, 5-7 won by fall over Chohon (Fall 1:18).
