The Pierce County American Legion bingo stand at the county fairgrounds is currently "under construction".

Legionnaire Rodney Kollars of Osmond was appointed by the Pierce County Legion posts to oversee the repairs to the bingo stand.

Kollars said, the past few weeks volunteers have been helping, working with Seth Noble and Paul Kollars, both veterans, of Noble & Kollars Construction Co., to repair the roof, trusses, fascia, and siding.

He said they are reusing as much material as possible to help keep the cost down.

When completed the stand will match the other green and tan buildings at the fairgrounds.

He said the Legion is accepting donations for the project and anyone wanting to donate can contact him at 402-518-1355. Donations should be made to the Pierce County Fair Board of Directors and designated for the Legion Bingo Stand.

Above, volunteers are replacing some of the roof framework.
