The 2022 Food Revue Contest was held on Thursday, July 21st in Bloomfield at the 4-H Building. The Favorite Food Revue Contest is a fun way for our 4-H Members  to learn how to properly set a table, plan nutritious meals, express originality, and be creative in choosing a theme to express knowledge of food, nutrition, and safety.  For the 2022 Food Review Contest, in the Junior Division, Hallie Kumm of Wausa received a purple ribbon and won Grand Champion. Morgan Stevens of Crofton received  a blue ribbon. In the Novice Division, Meredith Wortmann of Crofton received a purple ribbon and won Grand Champion. Emilee Babcock of Verdigre received  a purple ribbon, Tucker Hanefeldt of Creighton received a blue ribbon. Ella Jessen of Bloomfield received a purple ribbon, Grace Key of Creighton received a red ribbon,  Reagan Novacek of Verdigre received a red ribbon, and Isaac Steffen of Crofton received a purple ribbon.
It is Fair season again for Knox County, and, as always, it will be held at the Bloomfield fair grounds. The weekend will kick off on Thursday the 11th with a Free Omelet Feed starting at 8 A.M... F the rest, get your copy of the Crofton Journal, and read more about it!
