Two Plainview Pirates, Kayson Maertins and Tanner Frahm, took advantage of “National Signing Day at the beginning of February to sign their letters of intent to play football at Concordia University.
The two seniors join a recruiting class of 36 pledges/signees, including 33 high school prospects and three transfers.
The pair join two other northeast Nebraska players, Hunter Schultz of Wakefield and Carter Meier from Pierce. Maertins is pictured above with his parents, Beth and Curtis Maertins, and Frahm is pictured below with his parents, Liz and Wyatt Frahm.
Concordia’s Head Football coach, Patrick Daberkow (a Madison graduate), and Plainvew Coach Kyle Schmidt are also pictured.
