National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) inducted four members during its induction ceremony Tuesday, March 27.  

The Plainview High School NTHS Chapter recognizes and honors students for outstanding achievement in their career and technical education programs. This recognition is achieved through a nomination, evaluation, and selection process based upon exemplary citizenship, leadership, workmanship, and scholarship.  

The highest recognition bestowed upon career and technical education students is through membership in the National Technical Honor Society. 

President Tanner Frahm and the inductee conducted the candle ceremony, which describes the seven membership attributes. Following the candle ceremony, the one senior and 3 juniors were inducted.  Senior inducted Keanu Johnson and juniors Teya Boyer, Camden Dummer, and Abigail Kromarek. They received a certificate of membership, membership card and pin, tassel, NTHS sticker emblem, and diploma seal. 

The new junior members were installed as officers for the 2023-24 school year.  Teya Boyer was installed as President, Camden Dummer as Vice President, and Abigail Kromarek as Secretary/Treasurer. 

Teya Boyer and Camden Dummer presented the seniors with their honors.  Seniors Tanner Frahm and Keanu Johnson received their graduation diploma seals and NTHS medallions, which will be worn at graduation.  

NTHS advisers are Career and Technical Education Instructors Ronita Jacobsen-Family and Consumer Sciences, Chad Kment-Agriculture Education, Kim Miller-Business, and Derek Jueden-Skilled and Technical Sciences.
