The Plainview High School Class of 1963 held a 60th class reunion on Saturday, June 3, 2023.
There were many that attended the All-class Reunion at noon and more that met at Mary's Restaurant at 4:30 p.m. to reminisce with supper at 6 p.m. Several also rode on the float in the Parade on Sunday.
Attending were Steve and Pat Lorenz of Beatrice; Terry Hoffart of Stromsburg; Larry and Nancy Furstenau of Grand Island; Gene and Mary Jo Peterson of Ceresco; Lonnie Rea of Lincoln; Julie (Steinkraus) and Keith Johnson, both grads of Norfolk; Cherlyn (Krause) and Richard Hillrichs of Plainview; Ron Weber of Omaha; Keny Kuhl of Emden, Mo.; Don and Jean Walton of Asheville, North Carolina; Lois (Saathoff ) and Darrel Scott of Stillwell, Kans.; Richard McCrady of Minnesota; Linda (Joyce) Johansen of Plymouth, Minn.; Charlotte (McMahon) of Panama; And from Plainview: Jim Mullins, Warren and Dottie Westrom; Judy (Curtiss) and Wayne Rasmussen, both graduates; Merle and Phyllis Weber; Duane and Cheryl Christiansen.
There were 56 graduates in the Class of 1963 and 21 are now deceased.
