The 2023 Forever Pirate Memorial Golf scramble was held at the Plainview Country Club links this past Saturday with a crowd of 112 alumni and friends participating.
Superintendent Dr. Darron Arlt reported 56 alumni registered for the tournament - and the winning team in the Champion flight of: Britton Hamm, Stephen Kessler, Josh Kemp and Steve LaPointe.
The First Flight winners were Shawn Koehler, Allison Koehler, Laura Alexander and Caden Alexander, and Second Flight winners were Dillon Zuhlke, Michelle Zuhlke, Michelle Kuhlman and Joradn Kuhlman.
This year’s “best dressed” award went to Phil Hamilton with his “shirt only a wife (or mother) could love” - pictured nearby. This year’s “oldest alumni” was Damon Roach from the Class of 1973, and the alumni that traveled the farthest was Rich Spatz from the Class of 1986, coming from Chicago.
