The Plainview Arts Council will kick off its 2023-2024 season this coming Sunday with Kevin and Heidi Cheng, a piano and violin duo from Nebraska.
Bringing concerts to the Midwest, this dynamic couple play a range of styles, including popular, country, classical, ragtime, romantic, western, bluegrass, patriotic, and contemporary and traditional scared music.
Kevin Cheng, a native of Taiwan, and his wife, Heidi, a native of Kearney, have performed across Nebraska, including performances for the NCN Quarantine program.
The couple will perform in the Plainview High School Auditorium on Sunday, September 24th, 2023 starting at 2 p.m.
There will be three more events this season.
On Sunday, November 12th, 2023 Michael Fitzsimmons will perform Latin music on a variety of Latin instruments.
The Norfolk Area Jazz Ensemble will perform on Sunday, February 25th, 2024 featuring jazz and big band music.
The final event of the season will be something new. THEY Improv will join us on Saturday, March 16th, 2024 with a dinner murder mystery show presented featuring hometown actors and actresses.
Cost for the first three events will be charged at the door, with no cost at the door for season ticket holders. The THEY Improv event will have additional costs of a meal and will be advertised closer to the event time.
