The vehicle in question.

The Plainview Police Department has requested any assistance in identifying a pickup truck that was allegedly associated with a community-wide “egging” that took place on the evening of Nov. 29.

While the available police units were busy with a car into semi-truck accident on Monday evening around 7 p.m., the perpetrators took to the streets in what has been estimated to be a 2005-15 Dodge, grey, four door pickup with large black cattle guard.

The truck was caught on numerous video camera systems around town, but none were
able to catch an identifiable license plate. The Plainview Police have run the truck description and are still looking for leads or connections.

Multiple government agencies were hit with raw eggs – the City offices, Post Office and Plainview Police Car, as well as numerous businesses, residences and private vehicles. The Plainview Police Department has generated a case number for insurance claims, and are seeking the actors because of damages that have already been reported.

The description has also been turned over to the Nebraska State Patrol to run similar checks.

Anyone with information or names of those who were involved are encouraged to contact the Plainview Police Department through the dispatch office in Pierce to contact Chief Kristy Hallock. The investigation remains ongoing.
