The annual Highway 20 Hotrod Association’s 19th Car, Truck Motorcycle and Tractor show has been planned for June 14.
Registration for the many categories of competition will begin at Mary’s Restaurant that morning at 8 a.m. and be open until 11 a.m. Judging will begin at 11 a.m. and run until 2 p.m., and the trophy presentations will be at 3 p.m.
Returning again this year will be the popular “swap meet” where automotive parts and accessories (only) can be brought, sold and swapped. Tables are available with pre-registration, by calling Jon Haase at 402-358-0772.
This year’s awards include a $500 best of show prize, and $200 prizes for best Mopar, Ford and Chevy, and trophies are awarded to all winners for Best Paint, Best Engine and Best Interior – with specially named awards of the Bob Lingenfelter Memorial; Husker Ag Fuel Trophy; Ed West Memorial Mopar of the Year; Kim Lingenfelter Memorial; Skip Jenkins Memorial and People’s Choice awards.
There will be dash plaques and t-shirts for the first 100 entries to commemorate the event.
