The Plainview Chamber of Commerce’s nomination committee reviewed this year’s “Outstanding” submissions, and chose the following as this year’s annual winners:
Citizen- Kathleen Johansen
Youth- Karter & Kohen Lingenfelter
Business- Altwine Hardware
Farm Family- Alan & Angela Foster
Following the Klown Band performance on Saturday, June 7, the Chamber presented the awards to, sometimes, unsuspecting winners after reading from the nomination blanks. Presenting the awards were Chamber members Melissa Hoffart, Brook D. Curtiss and Diane Blair.
Everyone who has not won previously is available for nomination, and nominations can be turned in anytime to the Plainview News office. New submissions will be officially sought next March-May, for the 2026 awards during the Klown Festival.
