The 2025 Plainview Pirate Homecoming celebration week will kick off this weekend with painting downtown, and cap with the Homecoming dance next Friday, Sept. 19.
This year’s royalty include:
Queen Candidates: Emma Sauser, Morgan Nincehelser, Addie Hodson, Kenzie Doerr and Peighton Arlt.
King Candidates: Jaren Hergert, Hayven Stewart, Carter Parr, Gage Wortman and Dylan Ward
The coronation announcement and ceremony will be held on Friday, Sept. 19 at 1:30 p.m. in the Pirate Auditorium, and will be open to the public. The annual Homecoming Parade will be just prior to the coronation ceremony, leaving the school around 12:45 p.m. and traveling through downtown Plainview.
There will be a special pep rally this Wendesday at 2:30 p.m. at the high school, also open to the public.

Monday, Sept. 15: Gangsters
Tuesday, Sept. 16: Bibs for Bob (Lingenfelter)
Wednesday, Sept. 17: Color Day
Thursday, Sept. 18: Surfers vs. Bikers
Friday, Sept. 19: Red and White
Candidates will also be announced and presented 20 minutes before the start of the football game this Friday, Sept. 19 against Elkhorn Valley’s Falcons. Kickoff will be at 7 p.m.

Wednesday, Sept. 17: Special Board of Education meeting with Osmond Board of Education to discuss possible future football and volleyball high school co-ops, 6:30 p.m.
