Domonic White, rookie of the year.

The Malvern Bank 360 Sprint Car Series held its annual awards banquet at the end of January in Omaha – and Dominic White of Plainview, was the recipient of several awards during the banquet.

Throughout the course of the last year, the 360 Spring Car Series traveled to tracks in Nebraska, Iowa and Missouri, and White competed in 42 events, making 31 “A Feature” starts totaling 4 overall wins, 10 top 5 finishes and 22 top 10 finishes.

White received an award for finishing third overall in points for the season, and he was also named “Rookie of the Year” for the series with race owner reporting, “Congratulations to our 2025 VP Racing Fuels…Rookie of the Year, Dominic White!” The 16-year old rookie showed he has what it takes to finish up front on a traveling tour. The Plainview native started off 2025 qualifying for “A’ Mains against stout fields at both Stuart International Speedway and Lincoln County Raceway.

Dominic would then pick up back to back Top 10 Finishes at Off Road Speedway and Shelby County Speedway. The team would then start to gain momentum finishing 2nd at Boone County Raceway, and finishing in the Top 10 each of the last four races.”

White is sponsored by Jaguar Manufacturing, JB LawnCare, White Farms, Mowry Land and Cattle, Engler Machine and Tool, D& A White Inc, RCI Construction and Main Street Auto.

He will be returning for the 2026 race season with his 305 RaceSaver sprint car, and a few shows with the 360 sprint car. The majority of his season he will be racing the 410 sprint car at Huset’s Speedway in Brandon, S.D. and Jackson Motorplex in Jackson, Minn.

Dominic White is the son of Dan and Jamie White, and grandson of Duane and Kate White and Jim and Jan Brom, all of Plainview. He is currently a junior at Plainview Public Schools.
