Spring has sprung!! At least that’s what the calendar is showing. The weather has been a little crazy and I don’t think mother nature knows which way she wants to go, but I know it doesn’t do any good to complain. So, we go with the flow and try to enjoy every day, no matter what.
Thank you to everyone who came to our Corn Beef and Cabbage Fund Raiser. We had a good night and it’s always fun to make something different.
This month we are going to have a Sunday dinner. It will be held April 19th. We will be serving a Spaghetti Dinner. Watch for details coming out soon.
We made it through our 2nd evaluation from Northeast NE Area on Aging. Of course we got wrote up for a couple things, but nothing major. I feel that they have always found something or they aren’t doing their job. They are all easy fixes, and we will continue to push forward.
We are going to put our pantry box out again, so if anyone would like to donate pantry items, that would be awesome. Jell-O/ Instant Pudding, Buttered Flavored Crisco, Cake Mixes, Napkins, Pasta of all kind or shape, small cans of fruit.
All of these items are items that are sometimes hard for us to get. Plus, with your helps keep our food cost down. Any donations of any kind are always a blessing to us.
As I close this letter, I am hoping that everyone remembers that we are open to all ages for our meals, and for our activities. If our door is open all of you are Welcome to come in and enjoy!!
