The mission of “Helping Hands for Christ” has been to give Plainview Senior High students the opportunity to serve.
This service will be shown locally by helping people in the community who need extra assistance around their property. The Helping Hands for Christ event will be Friday, June 17th and Saturday, June 18th. The students and leaders will be traveling to Norfolk Friday morning to work at Mercy Meals. On Saturday morning and afternoon they will work in small groups with a leader or two to serve in Plainview. They will clean yards, clean garden spaces, trim bushes, wash windows on the outside, clean gutters, paint, etc. To sign up for the Helping Hands for Christ mission group to help you, there will be forms in the church offices. These forms must be returned to your church office by Friday, May 27th. About a week before the event someone will visit you to see what kind of equipment will be needed to complete your project.
