The Plainview Country Club held the 2022 Men’s Open the last weekend in June, with a Colorado golfer claiming the top low score honors in the Championship Flight.
Ben Dubois of Colorado took first-place with a score of 136 over the tournament. Stanton’s Brook Klinetobe was second with 141, Derrik Vest of Tulsa, Okla. was third with 141, Sam Hallman of Sioux Falls, S.D. was fourth with 144, Sam Meuret of Iowa was fifth with 145 and Lance Morrow of Omaha was sixth with 146.
Organizers said of the tournament: “Good weather, wonderful help and great golfers made for a successful weekend. We appreciate all the golfers that come back from year to year and those that are new to the tourney! Many “Thanks” to all the workers that help as we wouldn’t be able to do this without all those that cook, work registration, bartend, ball spot, work the range and those that do the flighting and scoring! Again, Thank You to all the help and golfers!”
