Pierce County Fair

The 2022 Pierce County Fair will begin July 27 and run through July 31 this year River City Carnival will be returning this year with rides, food, games and ride armbands available. 

Wednesday kicks off which is entry day so make plans now to see all the 4-H shows and plan what you could enter in Open Class. Anyone can enter in open class.

New this year is Team Roping at 5 p.m. and it is still a free night.

See a full day of 4-H livestock judging shows on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.  Thursday morning will be a Free Pancake Breakfast and then Thursday evening is the popular Bush Pullers back with seven classes.

Friday is a free breakfast and the return of Extreme Bull Fighting.  
This is a point driven physical contest between a bull and bullfighter. The more style, control, and closer they are to the bull, the more points they’ll earn for the show. That night the James Lee Band will perform.

Saturday will be a full day of events with Mud Volleyball, more 4-H action, FFA Pedal Pull and Double S Bull Company again bringing Extreme Bull Riding with a minimum of 30 bull rides for a full show. Borderline will be back to close out the night in the beer garden. 
The ATV Rodeo, and FFA Pig Wrestling all return this year on Sunday. 

The Demolition Derby that evening will include Limited Weld, 90’s & Newer, Bonestock classes and added this year is Mini Vans officiated by CS Promotions.  Kids can participate in the Power Wheels event at the intermission.

A beer garden will be on the grounds for all the events again this year so no coolers will be allowed. 

The Board has added a “spray can painter”, the HornT zoo from Monroe with an exotic animal display on the grounds Thursday through Sunday and Colors Da Clown will be there with balloons and face painting for the kids Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
