Richard and Nicole Clemans have installed their sign, and are “officially” the new owners of the Plainview Car Wash, now called “Chububbles” Car Wash, taking over from previous owners Nathan and Lyn Stec.
The Clemanses took possession in June of 2022, but wanted to wait for their signage to arrive and be installed before announcing the takeover.
In keeping local ownership, the Clemanses said they were happy to be able to keep the car wash open, and the service available to Plainview and area residents. The Car Wash is located on Highway 20 right next to their other business, Alby’s Electric.
The car wash, named by the couple’s kids, will continue to offer washes, spot free rinses, wax and vacuum services to the community.
