North Central Public Power District (NCPPD) announced May 15, 2026, as the beginning of Phase 4 and 5 of the City of Plainview electrical system rebuild.
Phase 4 and 5, as shown by the nearby map, indicates in Blue and Green the locations where the rebuild will occur. NCPPD has hired IES, an electrical contracting company from Holdrege, NE, to do the project. IES will be replacing poles and wires.
Some outages could be planned for specific areas as work is being done.
